A Bold Mesh Sheer with Unexpected Softness

We had always been curious to see how Cosmos would look once made into full-length curtains. What first attracted us to the fabric was its distinctive mesh-like construction—an unusual quality that sets it apart from more conventional sheer fabrics. The open weave feels bolder, more architectural and distinctly contemporary.

When the Cosmos Hay sheers were finally installed, the result surprised us. The mesh pattern remained clearly visible, giving the window a strong modern identity, while the warm Hay colour softened the harshness of the incoming sunlight.

Cosmos almost seems to perform a visual trick. Viewed up close, its pronounced woven structure and individual threads take centre stage. From the middle of the room, the mesh forms a striking, textural layer across the window. From further away, the pattern gradually softens, and the curtain appears lighter, calmer and more atmospheric. At each distance, Cosmos reveals a different character.

This changing perspective is part of what makes the fabric so effective: the weave is bold and structured, yet the colour and filtered light feel gentle and calming. Together, they create an unexpected balance of texture, softness and modern character.

Made with 51% GRS-certified recycled polyester, Cosmos is fully washable and suitable for both residential and commercial interiors. Its 310 cm usable width also allows for a clean, continuous finish across large windows and sliding doors.
