A Circle of Light: Transforming a Challenging Window

Just before Christmas 2022, Fred visited Henny’s home in Lindfield. Henny wanted advice for a round window in her youngest son’s room, unsure which window covering would work best. After Fred carefully explained the pros and cons of different options and Henny considered her own preferences, she decided a shutter would be the perfect choice.

Once that decision was made, Fred set about taking measurements—and for a shutter, precision is everything. Even the tiniest error can throw off the entire fit. Some windows, after years of use, may have slightly warped, making the job even trickier. And in this case, it was a round window, which always adds an extra layer of challenge. Every millimeter mattered—and Fred made sure it was measured to perfection.

After a 10-week wait, the shutters were ready for installation at the end of February 2023.

And the result? Truly transformative. The custom-made round shutter turned the window into a stunning focal point. Its curved blades gently filter the daylight, casting a soft, calming glow throughout the room. The crisp white finish blends effortlessly with the surrounding walls, creating a clean, airy feel while still offering excellent light control.

More than just a window covering, this unique shutter brings a sense of architectural elegance and quiet comfort to the space—perfectly suited for a child’s room.

Henny was thrilled… and honestly, so were we. What a relief—and what a beautiful result.✨
