Our Mission & Passion: Creating the Perfect Curtain Experience ✨

In Oct. 2022, Glenn and his wife Del approached Ms. Curtain with the two photos to seek window coverings for their beautiful home in Berowra Heights. Their goal was to protect their floorboards and furniture from UV exposure while still preserving the natural view.

They shared a clear brief:
“Something really light and UV-resistant—sheers for these two areas—to soften the harsh sunlight before summer.”

At the beginning, they were exploring several directions and weren’t quite sure which option would best suit their space. We introduced a curated range of sheer fabrics offering approximately 5–8% UV protection, including options such as Burano, Boyd, Kite, Flo II, Allusion, Rhyme, Sunlight, Excellence, and Sensation etc.

After two on-site consultations, Glenn and Del decided the Boyd almond sheer, this color and the texture of the sheer perfectly echo the colour and texture of their furniture and flooring. To further protect the fabric—given its 23% linen composition—we recommended installing a practical lining Aspro sand color behind the sheer to enhance durability and longevity.

During our site inspection and measurement, Fred noticed a sloped ceiling in the central bay window area, where curtains were desired. This presented a challenge for track installation. Fred carefully discussed various mounting solutions with Glenn and Del, outlining the pros, potential limitations, and visual outcomes of each option.

Together, we agreed on a tailored installation approach. The final result proved to be both practical and visually pleasing, delivering a solution that perfectly met Glenn and his wife's needs and expectations.
